Episcopal Church at
Ole Miss (ECOM)

We encourage college students, whether enrolled at Ole Miss or Northwest Community College, to join us on Sunday mornings for worship, and to explore any and all of our offerings for adults. Our ministry to college students, known as the Episcopal Church at Ole Miss (or, more familiarly, “ECOM”), offers space for both fellowship and formation with others in the same stage of life.

College Offerings

  • ECOM Lunch Bunch

Those who study (or work) on the UM campus are invited at various times throughout the academic year (usually a couple of times a month) to gather for Noonday Prayer then enjoy lunch together at the Rebel Market.

  • Wednesday Night Dinner & Compline

College students gather at 6:30 p.m. for our parish-wide dinner (at no charge) in the Parish Hall before ending the evening with Compline.

  • Sunday Night Dinner & Discussion

Colleg students are invited to gather on Sunday evenings at 5:30 p.m. for dinner and a faith-based discussion.

Home Away from Home

At St. Peter’s, we hope for college students to find a spiritual home, where they can grow in their relationship to God and connect with others committed to following in the way of Jesus Christ. Our clergy and members want to walk alongside those who land in Oxford for that short, but deeply formative, period of life as a college student.
