This Week at St. Peter’s

Annual ECW Greenery Sale:  You may order greenery for yourself (to pick up at the church), a friend or relative (have it shipped to them or pick up at the church), or donate money to be used for buying greenery for the church. The annual ECW Sherwood Forest Greenery sale will end November 6, so please do not delay in placing your order.  Profits made are donated to outreach projects.  Order forms are on the ECW bulletin board.  For more information call Kitty Smith at 832-0451 or the church office 234-1269. This is the last weekend to order greenery.

Veteran’s Day Celebration:
Please come, let’s have a night of celebration at St. Peter’s for our veterans.

Monday, November 13  5:30 p.m.  St. Peter’s Parish Hall , Casual
Pot Luck Dinner prepared by the best cooks in North Mississippi.  St. Peter’s will provide the meat,  you can choose between appetizers, salad, vegetable, bread or dessert.  Wine will be provided, a donation basket will be handy for all who would care to contribute. As always, everyone is invited, you certainly do not have to be a Veteran, this is for Veteran Lovers.  It is a day and a night to show appreciation for our Veterans.  The plan:—  Have a fun program but certainly meaningful.  We hope to do a little group singing, dancing allowed if anyone feels so inclined.  Please come and help us honor our veterans.

“Loving our Neighbors” series:  On Wednesday, November 8 at 5:30 in the Large Parlor, we will welcome Richard Gershon from The Jewish Federation of Oxford for a conversation about Jewish life in Oxford, recent initiatives of the newly formed Jewish Federation, and possibilities for engagement between our two communities.
